Application Engineers

  • Mechanical & CFD Application Engineer

Job Description:

  • Provide technical support to customers on CAE products, while leveraging his/her knowledge and experience to achieve the company's business growth across the SEA region.
  • Work with an international team.
  • Exposure to the latest technology and trends in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales and post-sales support and engineering services for CAE products.
    • Mainly structural analysis using Ansys® software.
  • Understand customers' application requirements and provide solutions.
  • Conduct technical presentations/demonstrations/seminars, provide software application support, conduct product training, and engineering services.
  • Conduct application training both in-house and on-site at customer locations.
  • Support set-up, inspection, and testing of new software/hardware at customer locations to ensure proper installation.
  • Work as a team with field sales personnel, identify and provide reliable solutions for all technical issues to assure customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.
  • Ensure smooth and timely communication between sales and engineering teams.
  • Other duties as required by management, including but not limited to travelling to support customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Machinery/Mathematics/Physics.
  • Has a minimum of 3 years experience in CAE applications support in the manufacturing industry.

Skills & Abilities

  • Technically competent, sales-oriented,results-driven, and customer-oriented.
  • Business-level proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to prioritize work/multitask, with strong data analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work in a team or independently with minimum supervision.
  • Adaptable to different environments/platforms, while working under pressure.
