CYBERNET and Airboard Propel Optical Simulation Forward at NUS Seminar.

CYBERNET Malaysia and Airboard Technology (S) Pte Ltd recently conducted a seminar at the National University of Singapore to showcase the latest Ansys Optics and Photonics simulation solutions.

The session introduced participants to the comprehensive Ansys Optics product portfolio, which includes Ansys Lumerical, Ansys Zemax OpticStudio, and Ansys Speos. Attendees explored detailed comparisons of simulation solvers and examined real-world applications such as integrated waveguides, photonic crystal waveguides, and resonators.

In addition, the seminar covered practical tool selection strategies and best practices, alongside an introduction to Ansys HFSS — a high-frequency electromagnetic simulation software. The event concluded with hands-on exercises using Lumerical, providing participants with valuable experiential learning.
